THE MULTI-DIMENSIONAL CHALLENGE

Poverty & Financial Exclusion

High household poverty, especially among the 80% of smallholder farmers who are women, due to a lack of capital and financial literacy.

Social & Gender Crises

An alarming surge in teenage pregnancies (over 9,000 cases) and rising Gender-Based Violence (GBV) driven by economic hardship.

Agricultural Barriers

Low productivity, poor access to markets, and a lack of electricity for value addition or clean cooking.

Health & Mortality

High mortality rates for mothers and children under five due to poor sanitation, lack of safe drinking water, and indoor air pollution from fuelwood.

Infrastructural Gaps

Overwhelmed rural health centers, overcrowded schools, and a significant digital divide.

Education challenge
Overcrowded schools with poor infrastructure, lack of proper laboratories and libraries.

Impact & Achievemnets

Through strategic intervention, SCF has already achieved significant milestones in empowering vulnerable groups.
